Farmers in China’s Henan Province are using unmanned aircrafts to spray pesticides onto the farms.

In November 2017 a group of villagers in central China bought drones marking the beginning of a new era of drone usage in farms.

Zhu Xiwang, a farmer, and his neighbours said they hoped their squad of agri-drones would help start a pest-killing service.

The unmanned aircraft, known by its model name MG-1S, is produced by Shenzhen-based Da Jiang Innovation, one of the largest drone manufacturers in China. Said to be one of the most popular drones for agricultural purposes in China, the aircraft can follow a pre-programmed flying route and is equipped with three radars — at the front, rear and bottom respectively.
