Tips for maximum milk production in dairy farming
Most farmers have dairy cows producing a meagre 5 litres of milk a day while others are hitting 40 litres a day.
Sometimes it’s the cows’ fault (breed, genetics etc.) but most often, the farmer is to blame.
Some literature compares a dairy cow to a factory.
That means what is fed to the cow determines to a large extent the quality and quantity of milk produced.
